Hello

My boyfriend and I are studying Kungfu/tai chi over here in the U.K and are planning to travel to china to learn from the masters. Our itinery is looking like we're going to get to Mt. Wudang mid-late october 2007 - Is this going to be too cold? Has anyone studied tai chi on the mountain - what's it like?

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time

Sophie :o)

For a computer expert, I am such a klutz....I hit the start a new thread button rather than reply.

The mountain is about 1300m/4300ft in elevation. Chances are good it will be pretty cold at this time of year.

Too cold??? Nahhh. Just dress appropriately with special attention to good socks, hats and gloves.

You might want to look for long john underwear. There are far more varieties available today including hi-tech stuff that keeps you both cool when you're hot and warm when you're cold. Amazing stuff.

I've never been to that mountain, but I live at about 3300 feet in the mountains. We could get our first snow any time now....
