Do the Chinese hunt & fish for pleasure?

Could a traveler hunt or fish while visiting?

For instance, could you shoot a rabbit with a slingshot or go fishing in a stream and cook the rabbit or the fish for your picnic lunch?

Do you need a hunting/fishing license?

I think I knew that big game hunting was out of the question because of firearms restrictions...but rabbits and birds can be taken with a slingshot. ...that's why I included hunting...

So I should bring fishing gear next time...but how 'bout hunting.
