Well done Richard. There is no reason why someone should demand a female translator for such a role, such discrimination would not be tolerated in his own country. If he wants a woman he can go to other sites, there are plenty of them - but keep the jobs separate. His attitude appears to discriminate against men but it also discriminates against women who are presed into accepting dubious social support roles ifthey want to get a job.

A frequent traveller to Harbin, and has been to China for over 20 years, and still need an interpreter? Maybe. Mr Wison is sincere enough to inform that he needs an interpreter + a social escort. Is that wrong? Maybe not. But TCG, I believe, is about travel and guide to China and not a website for finding social escort or dating service.
