Even people like proffesional boxers need bodyguards simply because there is always the idiot who thinks they are big enough to want to have a go.
Of course then you have the over excited fan of respective celeb.
Being a nobody has it's advantages.

The doors are opened because the bodyguards are trying to protec the president from any attacks that may come from behind. You would have noticed that President Hu's car is in the middle...the doors on his car is closed...
