Su-30 Versus Typhoon F2!
From July 2nd to July 12th, a military exercise named Indradhanush-07 between India and Britain was held at Waddington AFB. The most eye-catching are the Su-30MKI (India) and Typhoon F2(Britain). Before this military exercise, Su-30 has defeated F-15 and F-16 fighters(US) during the Indo US military exercise in 2004 and 2005.
On the other hand, the Typhoon F2 was produced by Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain together. Originally, it was designed as a interceptor fighter. However, it became a multi-functional fighter finally.
Below are pictures of Su-30MKI and Typhoon F2.

I saw the Typhoon on a television programme last night, the presenter of the programme went up in the plane and said it was the best experience he has ever had, from a fairly short take off it went up to 6,000 ft before the presenter could even move his head before eventually going up to 32,000 ft.
The aircraft relies on computers rather than the pilots skill, if the pilot makes a mistake the computer will make the adjustments to correct it's course.
Having worked in the aircraft industry it looks a very impressive aircraft to me.

According to the report of Indian media, it is said that Su-30 MKI and Typhoons deuced in the 1 versus 1 air combat. It seems that they have the same power. But I have doubts on it because it is just exercise. Both sides must hide something.

Su-30 and Typhoon are two different purpose combat planes. Su-30 is strategically a long range, high altitude fighter. Missiles rarely hit it. Typhoon is a medium range combat plane. Russian technology is superior for low cost whereas Typhoon's cost-effectivity is yet to be tested. Su-30 has least record of crashes where as Typhoon's computer technology is highly admirable when it comes to compare with US technology.

Also when it comes to radar system, the advaced radar system(Advanced IRST/FLIR Detection Range) of Su-30 can detect an F-35 whereas an F-35(AIM-120C AMRAAM Engagement Range) can not reach Su-30.
