airfare from Chengdu/Lhasa to Chongqing

Hello people, just wondering if anyone can shed some light on a few issues i have. We leave for China in 2 weeks
Economically, would it be wiser of me to book airfare in chengdu for
a) chengdu - lhasa - chongqing OR
b) chenduu - lhasa (and then book lhasa - chongqing in lhasa)?
also can anyone recommend good/trusty agents in chengdu and/or Lhasa?

If you are sure of the departure date from Lhasa, of course it is better to book chengdu-lhasa-chongqing for one time.

For domestic travelling in China, I recommend 1-way ticket booking. It allows you the flexibility of changing your plan.
From my experience, there is no special price discount if you book a return ticket. But booking 1-way ticket puts you at a risk on the discount as you don't know what discount will be for the return leg. Also generally, tickets are available even at short notice - 1-2 days in advance will do.
There are many booking agents but I would recommend you book via TCG here - it may cost a bit more but you will have peace of mind. I am not an employee of TCG, by the way !!
