GUEST87236 I want to know how they're going to keep things from flying around that shouldn't be flying around.
I don't care whether it's art or not, I just know that jock straps and sports bras were invented for a reason!

The naked body is beautiful especially where it is so finely tuned and cared for by the owner, as in this example. We should have more of this relatively artistic nudity with its carefully chosen and limited eroticism (for these are a normal part of life) is far superior (in my subjective opinion) to all the pornography that we have around us. It exalts the body and the person, it does not denigrate them as so much *** does.

GUEST13673 Sometimes nudity can really enhance art, to see the beauty of the human form, sometimes its used to shock, or what other purpose they may have--its all part of the statement the artist wants to make.

Nudity is all part of our daily lives although not in the open, sometimes the artist want to brink that out to get an emotional response from the audience. To see fit bodies moving in the nude I think would be beautiful, among other things, ...to say the least.

GUESTHOMAS The human torso - male and female - has been the model (and inspiration) for artists' works for hundreds of years; painters and sculptors from the Renaissance Period such as Michaelangelo, Da Vincci to American painters like Thomas Eakins, Leon Kroll and many other great European artists have produced great fine art on the nude subject, male & female.

It is not common in Asian culture for obvious reasons; so this Taiwan Naked Ballet would be controversial for the general public; who will worry about the "nudity" aspect rather than the artistic value. It is a natural reaction because the level of art appreciation is generally very low in Asian cultures as compared to the West.

Art, like food, is a matter of personal taste; whether sexy, or artistic, it would be better to leave it to the audience to accept or reject. Mind you, even critics and connoisseurs of art do not agree among themselves sometimes.

As for me, artistic renditions of female nudes offer more appeal and attraction than photographic images... tell you why in another episode.

GUESTDEA... I think that the only people who are going to go to this are the crazy artsy people who secretly want to run down the street naked and the pervs who want to see the dangly bits. I mean half of the fun of a ballet is seeing the pretty costumes.
