Excellent exhibition Johnny512! As a true lover of hot springs, I am glad that you made this information readily accessible. I went on a trip to Western Grand Canyon Hot Springs outside of ShuiFu last April. The waters were very clear and soothing.

I haven't been in any of the ones that you displayed. I am going to research the whereabouts of Jinping Mengla Hot Springs in Yunnan Province. It looks like this one has medicinal rocks to offer extra therapy when soaking. Best photo award goes to Hot Springs in Hailuo Valley in Sichuan Province. Looks like very clean water and extra-inviting with newly-fallen snow surrounding them.

You forget the royal hot spring in Lintong, Xian!! The Huaqing Hot Spring!! There's a international level hotel build near the site of Huaqing Hot Spring and the hotel provides various kind of pools for you to enjoy the hot spring.

Since there are too many celebrated hot springs in China, I can not list all of them. Thanks for reminding me, May.

Avoid the hpot springs near Shijiazhuang... a few inches of lukewarm water in a small pool... I'm not even sure it is water from underground, just water heated from underground.... a big rip-off!

Are there any hot springs where you can enjoy the waters for a price similar to a swimming pool? It seems most hot springs have been taken over for big business profit and the pleasure of the rich. They all seem to be in resorts. I would love to be told a I have a wrong perspective on this so I hope someone will tell me I am wrong! fTourist acilities are needed for the common people too!

I wish I had known about Tianyi Hot Springs Resort on Mt. E'mei when I climbed the mountain last summer.
