Thanks LIONPOWER, that's what I would have thought.
The Canadian Consulate in Beijing is trying to convince people that it should take 7-10 days.
And another identical form letter after that, an additional 7-10 days!

Hi Folks I have another question along the same lines.
From your experience, if a piece of mail has an address written in English, will it take longer to be delivered than if it were written in Chinese?

EMS China to New Zealand, many times under 4 days to my door.
I wish the local mail was as quick. It can take 4-5 days in NZ city to city lol
