"Power comes from the barrel of a gun". This is a popular slogan said by Chairman Mao in the Chinese Civil War period(1927-1937). What do you think of this motto? Under the guidance of this motto, Chairman Mao led his men to the victory of the civil war. Is this a universal truth everywhere?

The first line reads : "Power comes from the barrel of a gun".

It is real. Those who control the arms will win the war or infighting. From the ancient dynasty to today, the doctrine has been proved very true.

"Power comes from the barrel of a gun". Absolutely correct. The history of CPC has affirmed the theory.

It is true. That is why we in the U.S.A. value our "right to keep and bear arms". The individual States that make up the United States would not ratify the U.S. Constitution unless certain guarantees were included. Of these Amendments, the 2nd Amendment is dedicated to preserving the right of the people to be armed.
Private gun ownership is a right that is vigorously guarded and politicians are well aware of that fact.
By the way, I thought the slogan was "political power flows from the muzzle of a gun."

Power comes from the barrel of a gun. Power can also be abused by the barrel of a gun.

GUEST15866 hi friends!!

GUEST29221 Yes, but behind the clicking of that mouse is the clicking of a hammer being drawn back. The threat and actuality of coersion always is there, whether seen or not, whether disguised or not.
