I wrote about my KEFIR having problems in 2009 and today I received a note from Mdm Choi saying that she is willing to let me have KEFIR from her! 4 years later ! WOW Thanks Mdm Choi, you are wonderful. I just want to let you know, my KEFIR did survive, i dried them and 1.5 years ago I left China and brought them to South Africa with me and we live happily EVER AFTER. What i do now is: I dry some KEFIR grains and put them in my freezer. They will last 18 months. Now I am not worried that I will ever lose my friends! |

| Hi all. As far as I know, there are two types of kefir grains. I think (but not 100% sure) there are grains for milk kefir and for water kefir. Does anybody know to explain me in a bit more detail about these types (difference, usage, etc). Thanks |
