I see the pictures but......hmmm......at that height and vertical position, it would appear that the horses back would be in jeopardy when hitting the ground. Is there an invisible line attached on the back of the horse?

it is likely that this is real because if you take a look the saddle has fallen back and the girth is on the flanks which is a really sensative are on the horse and its natural reaction is to buck and rear to get it off, so the horse has paniced and bucked a bit to far and fallen... it happens but i dont know how well off she would have been after. hope she was ok.

That is revolting! I hope it was doing it of its own accord and not because it was forced, otherwise I will track down the trainer and bust his/her miserable head open! Poor horse. Cruelty to animals if I ever saw it!

HORRIBLE!! I despise racing. The only reason it did that was because it couldn't take any more of the abuse the jockies, trainers, and owner gave it. Hopefully the poor horse lives a happy life and doesn't get sent to a slotter house like some racehorses do, or get cancer from the "special" food they give them for making them run faster. The list goes on with the horrible treatment of race horses, but I'd take too long to say them. I just hope the horse didn't get beaten after that. IDIOT JOCKEYS!!!
