I'm planning to visiting China in July.
Hope its a good month for traveling there. :)
Plan to visit 4 places: Shenzhen, Guangzhou, HK, Macau.
Can anybody advice what is the best route to take?
Will 2 days each place be enough?
What is the best way to go from one place to another?
thanks for all your help!!!

Best route would depend on your points of entry and exit.
2 days in each place, enough for what? What are your purposes of going to each city?

i havent booked ticket yet so entry and exit point is not determine yet.
im planning to go to Guangzhou then Shenzhen, HK and lastly Macau.
so my entry point will be Guangzhou and exit point will be Macau.
is 2 days enough to catch all main attraction in each city plus shopping (of course :D)

Seriously though, most people go to Guangzhou and Shenzhen for business and/or shopping, not sightseeing.
I would suggest perhaps 2 days each for Guangzhou and Shenzhen, perhaps 4-5 days for Hong Kong, and 1 day for Macau.

If I were you, I will go in this way. HK->SZ->GZ->MC->HK.
HK->SZ, subway to Luo Hu station. (seems HKD 33)
SZ->GZ, train from Luo Hu station to GZ east railway station. (every 20 mins one train,1 hour trip, 75 yuan)
GZ->MC,direct bus in China Hotel. (around 70 yuan)
MC->HK, ferry. (around HKD 138)

From HK to SZ you can take metro of East Rail Line to Lo Wu (Part of SZ) and enter from there. You can buy the ticket in metro station.
China Hotel is the biggest bus station to HK and Macau as far as I know. In addition to this,Garden Hotel, Rosedale Hotel, Hotel Landmark Canton, Hai Tao Hotel(Tian He) and all the main coach terminals also have bus to Macau.

GUEST49232 Hello Ms. Ellyse!

I would like to share my planned itinerary for my family's trip to Macau- Shenzen- Zhuhai- Macau and here it goes:

Our origin is Macau and we will go to Shekou, Shenzen to visit the WOW and Splendid China via turbojet. We will be spending overnight in Shenzen. Then, the following day we would like to go to Zhuhai and see some tourist spots there and shop between the Zhuhai Border Mall because items are said to be cheap there. Finally, we will go back to Macau. We hold a Philippine passport.

Herewith are my questions:
1. What type of tourist visa should we apply? We will be applying in Macau, if we will enter china once (Shenzhen) but would visit Zhuhai also. We will be in China for 2 days and will travel 2 places (Shenzen and Zhuhai)
2.What modest accommodation in Shenzhen would you suggest that is near the Shekou port?
3.From Shenzen to Zhuhai, should we take a bus or ferry? Which is practical?
4.If by bus, what route should we ride and where is the bus station? If by ferry, what ship and how much?

Hope to hear from you! Likewise, thanks in advance! :)
