From Pingyao to Xian

Hi everyone!

I would like to know if it is easy to go from Pingyao to Xian.
I think there are some night trains, do you know something about it? And do you know if there are any buses going directly between those 2 cities?

Not sure about buses, but here's the updated train schedule for Pingyao -- Xi'an. Note that you'll have to get a contact/guesthouse in Pingyao to get you sleeper tickets ahead of time.

But what do you mean by guesthouse? Isn't it ok if I directly buy the ticket from pingyao train station when I arrive there?

Apparently according to various guidebooks, you won't be able to get sleeper tickets. Pingyao is not a big station and trains don't originate there thus tiny/no allocation of sleeper tickets.
