If you want to stay in China for 12 months, I think the F visa is the best choice.
F visa can stay in China for a long term and can apply Multiple entries.
But apply the F visa need the BUSINESS INVITATION LETTER.
Contact me by Robert_shu7777@hotmail.com I will give the best solution.

Hi...This will depend on your passport; however, China is cracking down foreigners doing business in China for long periods of time. They have cut Americans down to 15 days, for example. One company in Macau is still able get 12 month multiple entry visas to China. I would give them a call 853-6216 8900 (in Macau) or 86-1534486 8900 (in China) email: chinavisamacau@gmail.com
Seriously, I dont think there is another way to get a long term multi-entry visa right now.

As a traveller, I recently obtained a 12 month multi entry visa, 2 months each stay. Whtejr you will be able to get a similar viisa depends on your nationality and in which country you apply....it's best to apply in your own country if possible. The local application will show the maximum duration...... apply for the maximum that you can and let them say no to all or part of your requirements. Otherwise there are possibilities of getting an F visa.
