Who can answer this question?

This question was raised by a Chinese pupil. What if the penguin goes to the North Pole and the polar bear goes to the South Pole?

GUEST4174 Well, it is said that there were penguins in the North Pole. Later on, people living near the North Pole killed those penguins. Finally, they became extinct. I guess that Penguins in the South Pole wanna go to the North Pole. However, they can't cross equator area because it is so hot there.

I don't think heat is the issue.

We have penguins in Australia whose habitat is quite warm during the summer months..

It's just and awfully long way and a bet they don't even know about the North Pole when they have such a large playground in the south!
