Is 2010 a good year for marriage?

RHEANISSA Points: 3 Join Date: Oct 28, 2009 Status: offline	Is 2010 a good year for marriage? Is 2010 an auspicious year for marriage? I was born Feb 8,1978 and my fiancee March 28, 1951, are we compatible? What are auspicious marriage dates for us- say month of May, Aug, Sept?

In may, there're lots of Chinese people who like to choose May 1. And as victormai said, any day would be good if you love each other. ^-^

The beginning of Spring is the first solar term of 24. However, there is no Lichun( the beginning of Spring) in 2010 and that is why people say 2010 is a widow-year. Some Chinese people believe that it is not auspicious to get married in a widow-year. Actually, it is kinda superstition. So the choice is yours.

Someone suggests that you can choose even-numbered days if you really intend to get married in widow-year. I don't know if it is true cause I am not married yet. Well, I think it is normal that Chinese people care about these superstitious things. You see, western guys don't like 13 too because it is not auspicious. Forget to say "Congratulations, Dave. Wish you and your wife happy forever!"
