Shanghai Pudong to Ningbo best way to travel

There is no train or bus at that time. The last train departs at 20:06. I suggest you stay there for a night and catch the earliest train (departing at 07:06) to Ningbo next morning.

I don't think so. You should go to Ningbo East Railway Station to take D or G trains for Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. It takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on what train (G or D) you take. Then you can take subway line 2 directly for Pudong Airport.

Also you can take airport shuttle bus line 1 from the Hongqiao Railway Station to Pudong Airport. It is faster than subway line 2.
