Tour by Taxi in Kaohsiung

I am cruising to Taiwan on friday I would like any information on taking a taxi to do a tour. Is it a good idea and what kind of price should I expect for 4 people to tour Kaohsiung for about 3 hours.

Or any other info on tours in Taiwan
We only stop for about 6/8 hrs in each destination
