guest73206 I want to go from Guilin to the Tiamen mountains near Zhangjiajie by either train or bus.

How long a trip ? costs? when to go?accommodation in Zhangjiajie
Alternatively, which airlines service those places?

There is no direct train or flight from Guilin to zhangjiajie.
If by train, the best transfer station is Liuzhou.

Bus from Guilin to Liuzhou takes 140 minutes and rmb40; no bus from Liuzhou to Zhangjiajie.

I googled and gotm the info that there is a direct tourist bus from Guilin to zhangjiajie. But it didn't say where and when it depart. Ticket price is rmb198.
