is a G Visa needed for connection flight London - Beijing - HK?
Jul 31, 2013 16:17
guest58176 Hello,

i ll travel from london over beijing to HK. In beijing i have a 3hour stay before i catch my connection flight to HK.

However since i fly with air china, iam a bit worried about possible delays. Is it safer to apply for a G Visa in case i have a longer stay than 24h on beijing airport?

PS. where would i apply for a g visa?

GUEST6765 Are you a citizen of UK? If so, you needn't worry about this. You have connecting air ticket to HK. Then you can enjoy 72 hours visa free transit in Beijing. I guess that a flight can't be delayed for 3 days.

In any case, PEK-HKG is international flight, same as LHR-PEK. So you'll be in transit area, no need to pass through immigration in Beijing...
