Xian-Baoji High Speed Railway to put into use on December 28, 2013

According to the latest training running graph, the high speed railway between Xian and Baoji will be put into use on December 28, 2013. 12 pairs of D trains and 1 pairs of G trains will run between Xian North Railway Station and Baoji South Railway Station. The G trains actually run between Baoji South and Beijing West. It just takes 7 hours and 6 minutes.

At the beginning, the high speed trains run at the speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It takes one hour and 1 minute from Xian to Baoji or vice versa. In fact, the trains can run as fast as 350 kilometers per hour. It takes around 40 minutes from Baoji to Xian or vice versa if the trains run at the speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

Useful information:
1. The D and G trains between Baoji South and Xian North pass by Xianyang Qindu Railway Station, Yangling South, Qishan Railway Station. There are three kinds of tickets: business class (154.5 RMB), first class (82.5 RMB) and second class (51.5 RMB).

2. Passengers can take bus no.263, 264, 265 or 266, or subway line 2 to reach Xian North. If they take D or G trains from Baoji South, they can take bus no.7, 28. Bus no. 54 from Lijiabao to Baoji South will be opened soon.
