RE: Teaching at Taiyuan Tech Uni

Hello All

My name is Tico from London, England. I will be going to teach English at TUT end of Feb and was hoping that someone maybe able to shed some light on teaching at the Uni.

Does anyone have any previous teaching experience there?
What is TUT like as an employer?
Any other information or advice you think I should know or be aware of?

Any feedback/advice would be most welcome.

First welcome to Taiyuan, Tico. TUT has the history over 100 years, as one of the earliest universities in China and is nominated as one of the top 100 universities by the national higher education program-211 Project. So, it's a good university in China. And just one thing to let you know, since most people here cant's speak English at all. So, it's better to know some basic Chinese b4 u land here.
