Cycling Visa Problem

guest58249 Hello All!

I'm traveling all the way around the world using just a bicycle and boats. I've made it over 50,000 miles and I'm over halfway home, but now I'm being thwarted by China!

I'm in Bishkek, Kyrgystan, and being told that the only visa I can possibly get here (American passport) is 1 month, which just isn't long enough to make it all the way to Laos! I'm also told its very difficult, long (i.e. not practical if I'm on the move) process to extend a visa in China.

Yikes! What can I do? I've come so far!!!

Any advice? And does anyone know what would happen to somebody if they just grossly overstayed their visa?

Thanks!

GUESTAHMED depends on how lucky you are :)
if you're lucky, they will let you go, if not you might be asked to pay 500 RMB per extra day and be blacklisted for Chinese visa up to 10 years..
