Where will I clear immigration ?

These are my flight details :

Shanghai to Kunming, flight no MU-755,
Dep 11:50 , arrival 15:10

layover : 01 hour

Kunming to Dubai, flight no MU-755,
Dep 16:10 , arrival 19:00.

Flight number is same for both segments.

Now will I do immigration in Shanghai or in Kunming ?

GUEST67783 You'd better call your airline to confirm this. Some airlines allow you to clear immigration when you board the plane for the first time. Then you needn't worry about your luggage because they take care of your luggage and ensure that your luggage arrives at your destination. However, some airlines can't do this. Therefore, you may have to go through the immigration in Kunming.
