I am currently a 16 year old, but will be 17 when I plan to travel to china to work for one year between high school and college. This has been my plan for a while now, until recently a friend said I would have to be 18. I have a job lined up and the owner is compliant with my age, but how old is the minimum age for a work visa? Thanks!

GUEST09054 According to what I know, those who apply for the Z type should be between 24 to 60. So I am afraid that you can't acquire a Z type to work in China. And you'd better not work with other types of visa. It's illegal. If you were caught, you would have been fined or detained. And i might affect your future visa applications.
