Chinese visa application - what is citizenship number?

guest10253 What is the citizenship number that is asked in the Chinese visa application? Is this the Social Security number? Can this be left blank?

Hi,as far as i know that citizenship number is just like ID in china ,some countries have the ID,but some country do not have the ID,this depends on different country .if no citizenship for your country ,leave blank is ok

According to what I know, your SSN (social security number) or driving licnese number can be written down in the citizenship blank.
