guest42186 is it possible to get a tibet visa for a swiss people direct in Bejjing or xining ? ho long does it go to get the permit ?
specially in january. Wish to sty there 5-10 days. Prrivat tours an also alone.

GUEST4322 Hey, you need a visa to arrive in mainland China. There is no special one for Tibet. You just need to apply for a tibet trave permit. However, individual foreign travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet. They should join group tours arranged by qualified tour agencies. The agencies can help you acquire the permit.
