Using my cell phone in Hong Kong

guestHong Kong	Hi everyone, I have a pay as you go cell phone in China as I didn't want to be tied to a contract as I rarely need to use my cell phone. Anyway I am going Hong Kong for a week and want to know if I am able to send and receive text messages to mainland China. Any info would be great thank you

Don't worry. You can just choose a telecom operator and then decide which package you want to use. If you don't want to use it anymore, you can cancel your account by visiting their office. Yes, you can send text messages when you are in HK. However, the cost is higher. It costs around CNY 1 per text message.
