Is there a train from CTU (Chengdu Airport) to Emeishan?

I have seen different information regarding whether there is a train station at the airport. Is it possible to go directly from there to Emeishan (either by train or bus)? Or does one first have to go to Chengdu?

Yes, you can take high speed train from Shuangliu Airport to Emeishan. The train station is located under the parking lot of T2 terminal. The first class seat costs CNY68 and th second costs CNY56. It takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Emeishan.

From Emeishan railway station to Mt. Emei, there are two ways. The easiest way is to look for the ticket booth before you walk out of the railway station. You can buy the bus ticket and take the bus inside the railway station. Another way is to take no.5 bus (if you already walk out of the railway station) to Baoguo Temple. There you can take bus to reach the mountain.
