Authentication of TEFL during Z visa Application

guestDaniel Hi all, i would like to know if the chinese government will do a check/authenticate of our TEFl cert or educational cert during the Z visa application process?

When you apply for the work permit, related working experience proof, your diploma and related certificates (TEFL included) are required. Without the work permit, you can't apply for the Z type.

Therefore, they do check your documents.

I have the Official "Certificate of Proficiency" issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education. It is the certificate required to teach English in Spanish private schools and academies.
I intent to go to China, Would I need to verify the certificate in the Chinese Consulate in Spain or would the “Apostil of the Hague” be enough?

You'd better take your Bachelor Degree certificate with you, too.
It is NOT required to do the verification. But if the staff cannot recognize the certificate, you have to do the verification.
