Irish citizen applying for Chinese visa in UK
May 12, 2015 04:01
guest16398 I am an Irish passport holder. I have been resident in the UK for 28 years and own a house and a business. What documents do I need to submit to prove my residency & employment in the UK for my visa application? I have seen suggestions for an ILR card, but I don't know what that is, and a work permit, but I have never had one of those either!

GUEST678974 Hey, ILR refers to Indefinite Leave to Remain UK, which is known as permanent residency. You are able to apply for this since you have been in UK for 28 years. With this residency permit, you can apply for Chinese visa from the CVASC easily. You can send email to homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk|foirequests to learn more information regarding of ILR.
