Old Visa needed when applying for a new Visa?
Jul 31, 2015 11:55
guest12415 I am ready to apply in NYC for a new Tourist Visa to China for travel in August. I was told that I need to show them any old Visa's for China previously issued. I last went to China 30 yrs ago and my wife-15 yrs ago. It's doubtful I can find either. Is this important and needed? What if I just say I never got one before?
Thanks!

GUEST5788 guest12415,

They told you to provide old visas because they had your entry record. I don't think it's wise to tell them that you never been to China before. Just tell the truth that you lost your previous entry record and ask if there is anything you can do to apply for the L type.
