VISA for one month travel in March 2016

I am setting off around the world from the UK in October, with India my first stop, then south-east Asia, leading to China in March 2016 and beyond, If i apply for my Chinese Visa now, it will run out long before I reach China, is there anyway i can apply for a one month China visa somewhere along my route? or is there another option?
