Do I need invitation letter for tourist visa?

guestSourav I'm a 21 years old Indian boy. Im currently a student and I want to go to Xi'an to meet my Chinese girlfriend and travel there.
So please tell me if it's possible and if she can provide me the invitation letter.
And I would like to see a sample personal invitation letter too.

GUEST6778 Yes, she can send you an invitation letter. It should include the following information:
1. invitee's name, sex and date of birth.
2. your travel itinerary: when you arrive and leave and where you are going to vist.
3. inviter's personal information: name, phone number, address and signature.

Finally, she needs to send you a copy of her Chinese ID card too.
