However, it is difficult for me (Canadian) to know what is NOT available in China. Most toys sold here are made in china. Most of our moderately-priced handbags are made in china. A new Canadian immigrant told me that even though the Fisher Price toys were made in China, it would be difficult to purchase them there, especially in Qiqihaer. So I bought some toys made by Fisher Price (made in China) to take to the 1 yr old . I still don't know what would be a nice gift to bring from Canada. any ideas ? Joyce

But I think name brand perfume or makeup is really nice. Most of them are make in the US or France. And they are moderately priced. For example: Burberry, Escada, Gucci... Good luck!
