FIRST TIME IN GUILIN

Take the li river cruise,  be prepared for a well cultured excursion and bring appetite and thirst.

Easy photo from quiet upper decks and cool air-conditioned sedans with clean table linens and

Plenty of stretch room.

About five to hours anyway from upper guilin

With low cost refreshments and plentiful lunch or dinner buffet.

I had the lunch, .

Makes a nice honey moon trip.

Other excursions possible.

Nearby reed and flute caves a must,  they are big inside and  are well controlled lights.

Takes about a hour to get some photos of it as it has on/off loghts,  use  strong settings on camera or get photos from friendly shop nearby.

Clean and fresh inside.

No bats.

Nice big souvenier store and restraunt,  if not mistaken.

By then i had other things on my mind, namely Beijing.

Elephant rock a big site and nicely located.

The night river cruise from downtown Guilin a must,  good honeymoon  spot also,

Takes a few quite,  seven hours in colorful lighted shores,

Crystal pagodas and bridges of unequalled beauty.

Live, on lake operas.

The downtown artist section and outdoor restaurants are expansive, with lots of bargaining  vendors and great bargains.

Do the art students store, many outstanding works.

I got two incredible bargains in Guilin, the tour and the paintings.
