A big pancake with donut inside
There was a guy who had a big umbrella and a pancake stand at the corner outside my English institute. He made the pancakes on an overturned old oil barrel. I thought that was very resourceful. The pancakes were pretty yummy and we had them for lunch almost every day. I don't know if the guy was happy with his job though. He looked kind of sad to me; I guess it wasn't his dream job.
Compare him to my students who were often spoiled, and from well-to-do families, while he was spending his youth serving pancakes to people. It was an example of the rich-poor gap.
