World Heritage Sites normally suffer from environmental and pollution problems. This is because tour operators encourage more tourists to visit such places.

Thousands of people visit these places daily. They leave behind tonnes of garbage for the cleaners to clear. Some of these garbage may be dumped nearby killing trees & shrubs and polluting the waters.
