|Hi, My wife and i will be in China in June& July 1) is it easy to obtain train tickets to Lhasa on the new super train ?,|
2) are there travel restrictions in Tibet that make independant travel difficult. would we do better to go on an
any info appreciated

|Hi Nigel,you have to apply the permit promise for Tibet if you want do it independant.the hotel can book the tickets for you.|

|only if u visit tibet u need a apply for a visa, other part of china don't have restriction to traveller.|
If u go to tibet u need to confirm a ur itinerary through a travel agent and copy the itinerary and fill in the form when u entre tibet.

there are some places in china that foreigner are not allowed to go.
So ask the local people to check is there any restriction. If u get caught, police in china may treat u as spy, so be careful.
