DREAMLIFE Points: Join Date: Sep 5, 2007 Status: offline	Yesterday, the Speical Olympic Games came into its dazzling end in Shanghai. China's delegations performed very well. In all, they have won 463 golden medals, 336 silver medals and 258 bronze medals. Wang Jianghuan from Shanghai won seven golden medals in the gymnastics contests. It seems that almost every athelete gained his or her medal. More interestingly, some special and unpected guests appeared in the stadium and required to award the prize to the athletes. Once an Amercian audience played the role of the guest who awarded the prize to the athletes. This made him very excited. According to the tradition of the Special Olympic Games, the superior judge, the referees, even the parents of those athletes are honoured to award the prize to the athletes or their children. The next Special Olympic Games will be held in Athens in 2011. Hope more and more people could take part in this event and care about those intellectual disabled people in the world.
