Yes, trains run between Kowloon and Foshan. Do you want to travel these days? The train ticket is also much difficult to get.

Hi I have thought you just want to travel during the Spring Festival days. If you get to China in July or August, it may be in coincidence with the Summer Holiday for students. But it is not extremely terrible, and much better than now. The train from Kowloon to Foshan is T857/T878, running between 12:30 to 15:22.

I have travelled between HK and Fosahn a few times and it is very easy. Get from the airport to the train station and buy ticket there, almost all the staff speak English. The signs are all easy to read and you will have no problems

What's your definition of "best"? Flying is faster but more expensive, of course! If you can afford to fly, take a bus from Foshan to Guangzhou airport, fly to Nanjing then take another bus to Zhenjiang. Hong Kong -- Foshan by train takes 2h52min: T816/T813 (1230--1522)

Yes, there are -- I presume you're asking about Hong Kong airport. These are run by 2 separate companies, CTS and GogoBus.
