![]() | It is said that record fuel costs will make global airline industry back into loss this year. Presently, the oil prices is above 130 dollars per barrel. If the crude oil prices increase one dollar, the airline companies will pay 1.6 billion at cost. Giovanni Bisignani, director general of the International Air Transport Association, said that 24 airline companies have collapsed in the past six months and the airline industry faced 99 billion of extra fuel costs in the next year.He also said that this was a special crisis that might lead to the whole industry reshaping with great impacts on the global economy.
