I will be in Macau and wish to find out the best location hotel to stay, price & location.

Whatever you do, don't stay in the Venetian. I stayed there shortly after it had opened - it was a big mistake.

Posada de Coloane is good value and great location if you want to get away from the crowd and have a quieter time. Double 5/600 MOP Overlooks the beach, a few good restaurants nearby and beautiful walks on the hillside opposite. Bus or taxi to downtown

hi!me and my friend will be travelling to macau dis coming december 26-29 for our planned gift trip to ourselves manila, philippines going macau, china...could you suggest a cheapest accommodation as possible in macau...were on a very tight budget and wanted to enjoy beautiful macau even if were on tight budget pls help he....email me at yahoo.com|tingles_psy.......thank you so much!!

There is nothing cheap in Macau unless you are a YHA member. They have two hostels.

Expect to pay up to MOP 600 for something nice. Plan to spend two full days which is plenty of time to see the place.

I recommend The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel. There are restaurants, shops, hotel rooms, gambling zone, etc in it. One can stay in it as long as expected without getting out.
