Yinduffy, it is a pity that you couldn't watch live competitions. You can try some P2P softwares, for example, PPlive. However, the matches are narrated in Chinese. The picture posted by Jimmyb is funny. If I were that girl, I would be shocked definitely when he kissed me suddenly. How could she keep smiling when somebody kissed her suddenly?

It is culturally insesitive that the Italian behaved this way. It is also very sexist and inappropriate that she should have to accept it, LP.

Of course the whole setup is sexist, marketing and advertising worldwide typically uses attractive girls and handsome young men. It is wrong, but I guess we will never be rid of it.

Come on Paul, everybody knows the Italians kiss everybody. It was a spontaneous reaction from someone who comes from a culture that is not afraid of showing emotion.
As to sexist marketing, don’t hold your breath waiting for them to use the Hunchback of Notre Dame in the next set of ads for XXX.

It is cultural difference. In China, it is very rude to kiss a girl that you even don't know. I guess that the girl was very angry but she couldn't show her true emotions on that occasion.

BBQQ, that is why they need to be trained strictly. You see, their smiles are just professional ones. Whatever happens, they keep smiling like that girl in the picture. It is hard to know if they are angry or not.
