Huge price increase?

Have the prices for the visas just gone up hugely?
The place I use every trip was £50 for ages and when I looked today its gone up to £100 for single entry tourist visa.

Single entry visa from PRC embassy here is €40, handling within a week.
If need visa next day €63, same day €73. These are for Finnish citizens.
For other nationalities €33, €56 and €66.
US citizens €88, €111 and €121.

Prices has gone up here too, but not much.

Looking back at the last few tourist visas I got ; 05/07 45.00 GBP, 12/07 39.00 GBP, 05/08 75.00 GBP and looking on the site today is 69.00 GBP. So who knows what it might be tomorrow? It would have made sense for me to get a double entry but not always easy to plan so far ahead.

This is the place I use which seems to be a little cheaper than the one you quote, and I can vouch for their speed and efficiency. (6day processing at these prices) http://www.travel-direct.com/visas/china

Thanks, I will try these people as they are loads cheaper.
