My first trips to Asia caused me several "digestion" problems and even a trip to hospital in Indonesia, but now, after several years of regular trips my stomach seems to have become more robust and acclimatized to accepting "unfamiliar" food dishes. I think in most cases stomach upsets are caused more by food handling and preparation than the food itself.

I have been eating Chinese food for years, I think I am ok with most things. Although I tried Chengdu hotpot once and never again, it hurt a lot.
