| Take a taxi to Tanggu train station, take a C train from Tanggu to Beijing South train station (30 mins on the train). |

| hello have being reading the post but getting confused i need to get from beijing to the cruise termainl in Tianjin which i think is Xingang is that corect ? i know i can get the fast train to Tianjin from Beijing but you have been saying the station Tanggu where is that ? Is there a train that goes from Tianjin straight to the port many thanks |

| Tanggu is the nearer train station to the cruise teminal which's where you want to go. The train station is NOT right at the port, but a short taxi ride will get you there from Tanggu train station. |

| thanks very much i take there are plenty of taxis there would you recomend booking the train from the uk before we go or are the quite a few trains going there from beijing thaks Mark |

| Storm in Holiday Inn could help and he's a very nice person who serviced the guests from the Diamond Princess last year. I think you would meet him and he could help. If you want to get the tickets yourself, you could always take the subway and go the Beijing South Station. There's English reports on the subway so it would be easier if you couldn't speak any Chinese. I'm in Beijing so if you really need some help, you could always contact me. BTW, I was an English tour guide for Diamond Princess too^-^ |

| i have been told that i will not be able to get tickets down to tanggu on 7th october as it will be full is that true as we are staying in Beijing for 4 nights then going down to the port on the moring, but im now thinking at staying in tinjian on the 6th so at least its closer and hopefully can get a taxi to the port any sugestions Mark |
