To Anybody who knows about how D trains service:

Hi!

I'm planning to go to Zhengzhou from Shenyang via Beijing using the fast "D" trains. I have20 minutes interval when I arrived in Beijing to my next train for Zhengzhou. Is it possible to do this?

No, I think it would be a tad too rushed, especially if you're not familiar with taking trains in China.

After my travel, I found out that:

All trains coming from the south Beijing will arrive at Beijingxi or Beijing West Station while the north destinations will arrive at the Beijing Station. Therefore, there was no way I can connect in short time but if it was on the same station, I think I could.

I would say even if it was the same station, you'd need quite a bit of luck.
