What is the best way to get from Chongqing airport to Jiefangbei?

I'll be staying at a hotel in Jiefangbei and want to know the best way to get from Jiangbei airport to town. It looks like bus or taxi is the only way but not sure which is the better option. Thanks in advance :)

If you don't want to take taxi, just take airport shuttle bus (Jiangbei airport to Shangqingsi上清寺) and get off at Jiazhou(加州) or Shangqingsi(上清寺). Then you can take bus to Jiefangbei.

Jiazhou: 465 and 151 bus to Jiefangbei.
Shangqingsi: 603, 602, 465 and 405 bus to Jiefangbei.

The best way is to take a taxi from airport to downtown(Jiefanbei) directly. It takes about 40 minutes for RMB60 roughly. Cause you have to transfer a taxi from Shangqingsi to Jiefanbei if you jump on the shuttle bus.

Thanks for the info. Are bus stop names always written in Chinese characters in the Chongqing area? It looks like the Taxi is an easier option. I'll have to make sure to have my hotel name written in Chinese, Somerset Jiefangbei.

Generally speaking, the bus stop names are mostly written in Chinese.

Somerset Jiefangbei: 重庆盛捷解放碑服务公寓in Chinese.

At the end of 2011,No.3subway will be connected to Chongqing airport,it will be very convenient to go to every corner of this city.It only cost you 7RMB at most.In 2013,there will be 4 lines of subway in CQ.

Airport Bus on highway is another choice,it costs 15RMB sending you to downtown.
